Project Overview

Cigweld — one of Australia's leading welding equipment manufacturers — commissioned a cinematic product launch film for their new COMET 700 & 500 regulator range. The brief: premium quality, brand alignment, and a foundation for future collaborations.

Outcomes
  • Showcased key design features in under 45 seconds
  • Matched Cigweld's premium product positioning
  • Maintained brand and technical accuracy throughout
  • Built modularly for future product swaps
Creative Development
1.

Creative Planning

Aligned on creative tone, product highlights, and narrative arc through close collaboration with the Cigweld team — no formal storyboard, just a clear shared vision before a single frame was built.

2.

Lookdev & Materials

Every surface recreated from high-res stills and studio photography: anodised black body, dark brass fittings, Pantone-matched accents. Colour fidelity held across both isolated and environmental lighting setups.

3.

Animation & Production

Hero sequence, exploded-view breakdown, and multi-angle beauty passes built in a single unified scene. Every frame rendered at 4K with multi-pass compositing for full grading flexibility.

4.

Sound Design

Rhythmic clicks, pressure hisses, and low-end pulses layered for industrial weight. Paired with a clean tonal logo sting structured for easy alternate versions — Cigweld can reuse the asset across campaigns without a full re-edit.
